Superior provided a complete design-build replacement of the air conditioning system and new building automation controls.

The project included replacing two 100-ton air-cooled condensing units, evaporator coils, and refrigerant piping. Superior provided all coordination, including the large crane, downtown road closures, and the four semi-trucks and trailers required to streamline the road closure time.

The building automation system portion of the project included replacing pneumatic and standalone electronic controls for the entire central plant and all six floors of VAV controls.

The project results in overall efficiency gains, reliability, and remote monitoring and notifications capabilities.
