Superior provided the plumbing and mechanical installations for the facility’s original construction in 2012. Since then, we have provided complete mechanical and plumbing maintenance and repair services for the cottages, extended care facility, and transitional care facility.

From 2020 to 2023, Superior phased in the replacement of the domestic hot water systems for all eight cottages. This was a design-build project to replace the existing direct-fired water heaters with prefabricated skids that included on-demand water heaters with hot water storage for peak demand.

In 2024, Superior provided a turnkey boiler replacement for several of the cottages. This required coordination and complete shutdowns of each boiler plant with an accelerated schedule. The modernized boiler plants will result in better reliability, improved maintenance access, and longer service life than the original systems.
